Every long-haul route is now exclusively from Calgary. Since starting long-haul, WestJet has cut 15 European routes involving eight Canadian airports.
WestJet has now removed every long-haul route that wasn't served from Calgary. The final one to go was Vancouver to Lo.ndon Gatwick, effectively replaced by British Airways' new service, which starts in May.
WestJet's shift to focus wholeheartedly on Calgary for long-haul comes as part of widespread changes.
